Now with Dames is a sketch comedy group that consists of two hairy men, and two even hairier women.

Please join us for an evening filled with laughter, as Now with Dames, a sketch comedy group based out of Seattle, premiers their first full hour show.

This night will also feature one of Seattle’s best comics, Yogi Paliwal!

Now with Dames met as stand up comedians, came together to form a sketch comedy group, Now with Dames. Kenny is a Ring Announcer for MMA events at the Emerald Queen Casino (Halquist Productions) and previously a Ring Announcer for Fight Night Entertainment (Whatcom area) and PA announcer for the Bellingham Bells baseball team. Kenny was a member of the Dead Parrots Society (Western Washington University’s Improv Comedy Troupe) and performed in the Chicago Improv Festival. Jimmy and Kenny created, and were members in the sketch comedy group, Backflip Wilson. While in college, Jimmy started and ran a stand-up comedy club called, The Western Jesters. Jimmy currently performs in stand-up comedy shows all around the Northwest and incorporates his hilarious guitar playing in his performances Yola, is a talented stand-up comedy performer. She recently promoted and performed in a sold out stand-up comedy show called Dis/orient/ed Comedy at the Renton Civic Theater. She was a keynote speaker/performer for the Asian American Journalist Association and was featured in the Stranger, Seattle Chinese Times, and Northwest Asian Weekly, and Taiwanese America for her various comedic accomplishments. Cory was a cast member in two independent films; Silence Among Friends and Video Will, or This is the Money Shot. She was a lead character in an independent short comedy film, Let’s Go Camping. She is a cast member of a Pilot episode for a show that does comedy spoofs of BRAVO shows. She is also a cast member of, Closet Monsters Improv and has performed in many improv shows and comedy sketches. She has been in a couple local commercials such as: Pierre Money Mart, Wire Craft Electric, Snoqualmie Casino, and MOGA Gaming Devices.

In the Offices of Reincarnation, life goes on.  And on.
Life.Cycle. follows the story of two employees who run into trouble when a mysterious, recently deceased woman arrives with a missing file.  This drama offers some serious laughs and uses movement, live music, and other storytelling technique to explore the small vignettes interspersed throughout the main story.

Summer Theatre Discussion Series: July

Join us for a FREE Q&A and discussion with a number of Seattle theatre writers.

Discussion topics will include writing for a specific audience, how ideas develop, and writing with a purpose.

Panelists scheduled to appear include John Longenbaugh, who recently had his collection of short plays, Arcana, published by Dramatic, as well as Sherlock Holmes and the Christmas Carol published by Dramatists, among many other works; Beau M. K. Prichard of Confrontational Theater, who both writes and develops scripts with other writers, and at least two more notable local playwrights.

Admission is free. However, seating is capped at 49, and priority will be given for those who RSVP here.

Co-hosted by Confrontational Theater Project, and Eclectic Theater.



Charles Presents: Moby Alpha

July 11, 2013 at 8pm.

Seattle sketch comedy duo Charles debuts their first full-length play, Moby Alpha, an homage to classic Sci Fi and bombastic literature.

Come see the story of a mad captain’s quest for revenge on the amorphous spacial energy cloud that temporarily took his leg.

This is a special one-time performance of the show before we head north to the Fringe festivals in Winnipeg and Edmonton.
