Rik’s Holiday Wish Campaign

http://wishes.causes.com/wishes/141827

Rik started a Holiday Wish Campaign at the above link to support Eclectic Theater Company’s goal to retire the Odd Duck Studio debt. Our total accrued debt from our initial bid for taking over the Odd Duck Studio, four loans by private individuals to keep us in business, five deposits to renters and a few stipends still owed to some designers and actors from 2008-2009 amounts to $10,882.00.

We currently are late with December rent + late fees which amount to about $1800 and $1038.40 due for Electricity.

We have faith that we will overcome this challenge and stay in the business of producing and presenting great Theatre, Improv, Stand-up and Sketch Comedy and maintain as well as upgrade and improve the Odd Duck Studio as a prime black box venue that has been the launching point or stepping stone for many great performers like Lauren Weedman, Blood Squad, Reggie Watts and more!

So far the Holiday Campaign has raised $425 and our “Help Eclectic Theater Company Retire the Odd Duck Studio Debt” fellow campaign has raised an additional $250.

We also have potential Box Office revenue with our New Weekly Comedy programs: The Comedy Workshop and Brown Bag Comedy. Upcoming performances by Carskee in January and the opening of Eclectic Theater Company’s next show, Moliere’s The Misanthrope.

Advance TIX are now available for these shows and the revenue gets to us quicker if you buy over the phone with your credit card at 206-679-3271.

Thank you for giving and sharing our cause with your friends and colleagues.

Sincerely,

Rik Deskin, Artistic Director
